I finally did it. Due to incessant complaints from my neighbors (a common problem for us musicians), I finally broke down and bought a Whisper Room™. This 6'x6' puppy can reduce a screaming guitar down to conversational volume. This is great news, because not only can I practice trumpet open (unmuted), but I can also compose 'round the clock! I'm gonna double my output! |

Moved the Whisper Room in today. Oh. My. Goodness. This thing is HEAVY! It breaks down into 4'x6' panels, but I swear each one weighs 300lbs. The literature says 250, but I'm here to tell you that the actual figure is "heavy as a mofo!" Took all day, 2 people (me & a mover), 1 van, and 1 seatbelt ticket to get this thing into my house. Now it's just sitting there disassembled. Assembly? That's another story... |

Got back from Chicago last weekend for my sister's wedding reception. Her new husband has more family in the south burbs of Chicago than I do in the entire country! Wild! |

Sorry for the really inconsistent updating here. But today I added a cool new feature! I now officially have a podcast! Stick this link into your favorite RSS reader/podcast utility (most of you probably use iTunes) and rock out!

I'll definitely update it every time I create a news song, and also bump off some older songs, so it'll be constantly evolving! Be sure to update it at least once a day. I figure I'll add songs a couple of times a week, so if you update every day you'll be right on top of things! |
